Why Blankets?
Through Pete’s cancer journey, many things were given to encourage and support him. One that stands out was a crocheted blanket donated to Monticello Cancer Center. He was so touched that someone he didn’t know would take the time to craft a blanket for him. That blanket kept him warm in the cold Minnesota winter and kept him cozy during his naps after radiation treatments. When we tried to find a way to honor Peter after his death, blankets were the perfect answer!
